How it works

How does Gulf licensing actually work?

Every GCC regulator asks the same four things in the same order: prove the credential is real, prove the competence, register with the authority, then keep the registration live. The authority changes, the sequence does not. We manage all four stages and tell you what each one costs before you commit.

What are the four stages?

Knowing the sequence in advance is the difference between a licence in eight weeks and an application returned three times. Each stage has a gate: you cannot pass the next one until the previous one clears.

  1. Step 01

    Prove the credential is real

Primary source verification. The verifier writes to the university, the regulator and each employer you have listed, and confirms the documents and the institution independently of you.

  2. Step 02

    Prove the competence

A Prometric or council examination, set by profession and specialty. Some professions and grades are exempt. We establish which applies to you before you pay for anything.

  3. Step 03

    Register with the authority

The portal application itself: the correct title or grade, the right supporting documents, and the eligibility letter or licence number at the end of it.

  4. Step 04

    Keep it live

Renewal dates, continuing education credits and, where you move country, a second registration. A lapsed licence stops work as firmly as never having held one.

Why verification comes first

Without a positive DataFlow report, no GCC health authority will process a licence application. Standard verification takes 15-25 working days from the date of payment and submission of a complete set of documents. The delays that matter are rarely the verifier: they are a missing document, a name that does not match your passport, or an old employer who does not reply.

A resubmission costs 50 to 100 percent of the original fee. That is the single strongest argument for getting the document set right before anything is submitted, and it is most of what we do at this stage.

What does working with us look like?

  1. First

    A free eligibility consultation

Forty-five minutes. We establish which authorities you can realistically register with, at which grade or title, and what stands in the way. If the honest answer is that you are not eligible yet, you get that answer here, free, and we tell you what would change it.

  2. Then

A written quote, fixed before any work starts

Fees vary by profession, authority, how many credentials need verifying and whether an examination applies, so we quote per case rather than publishing a price list. The quote is in writing, it is fixed, and you see it before you commit to anything. We never take a percentage of a salary.

  3. Then

    Document preparation

The unglamorous part, and the part that decides the outcome. Collation, attestation, equivalency where required, and a check of every name, date and stamp against what the authority expects to see.

  4. Then

    Submission and tracking

We track the application through the portal, answer the authority's queries, and tell you where it stands without you having to ask. When a regulator goes quiet, we chase it.

  5. After

Renewal management, if you want it

Licences expire and continuing education credits accrue on a clock. We can hold those dates and prompt you before they become a problem.

Who do you pay, and for what?

There are two different kinds of money involved and conflating them is how people get taken advantage of in this market. Regulator fees are public, substantial, and payable to the authority. Advisory fees are ours, and they cover work, not outcomes.

Every regulator fee we quote is published on our costs page, itemised by authority, with the date we last checked it. You can verify each one against the authority's own published schedule, and we would rather you did.

What do you promise, and what can you not?

A licensing decision belongs to the regulator. Any firm that tells you otherwise is either misunderstanding the process or misrepresenting it. Here is the line, stated plainly.

What we commit to

If an application is rejected because of an error we made in preparing your documents, we correct it and cover the resubmission fee.

What we cannot promise

We cannot guarantee a licence, a registration, a pass, or a processing time. Those decisions belong to the regulator alone.

We do not publish a pass rate or a success rate. Those numbers are unauditable, every firm that quotes one has chosen its own denominator, and a candidate cannot tell a real one from an invented one. Read what we do not do for the full scope boundary.

What else do people ask about the process?

Do I have to do the stages in order?

Mostly, yes. Verification comes first because no GCC health authority will process an application without a completed report. Examination and registration can sometimes overlap, and we will tell you when that is possible for your profession and authority.

Can you submit the application for me?

That depends on the authority, and we will not claim otherwise. Some regulators require the applicant to hold the portal account personally. Where a third party may act, we prepare and submit. Where it may not, we prepare everything and you submit, with us checking each screen before you press send.

What happens if my application is rejected?

We read the rejection, identify which requirement was not met, and tell you plainly whether it is fixable and what fixing it involves. If the rejection was caused by an error we made in preparing your documents, we correct it and cover the resubmission fee.

How much of this can I do myself?

All of it. Every authority publishes its requirements and every portal is open to applicants directly. People come to us because the requirements are scattered, the documents have to be right first time, and a returned application costs weeks. Nothing we do is secret and we will tell you when you do not need us.

When do I pay, and who do I pay?

Regulator, verification and examination fees are paid by you, directly to the authority, in your own name. Our advisory fee is separate, quoted in writing after a free eligibility consultation, and staged: part when work starts and the balance when verification clears.

How long does the whole thing take?

It depends entirely on the authority. UAE healthcare licensing through DHA typically runs 4-12 weeks. Saudi healthcare registration through SCFHS typically runs 6-10 months. Those are the authorities' own published patterns, not a commitment from us, and verification is the stage most likely to add time.
