Terms of service
These terms govern the advisory services Gulf Credentials provides to you. In short: we prepare and manage regulatory licensing applications, we quote in writing before starting, you pay regulator fees directly to the authority, and the licensing decision belongs to the regulator rather than to us.
Who are you contracting with?
Depending on where you are and which services you buy, your contract is with [REPLACE_ENTITY_UAE] or with [REPLACE_ENTITY_INDIA]. The quote you receive names the contracting entity before you accept it. Registration details for both are published on our licence and registration.
By instructing us, or by accepting a written quote, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not instruct us.
What services do these terms cover?
We provide advisory and administrative support for professional licensing and credentialing in the Gulf Cooperation Council states. Depending on what you instruct us to do, that may include:
- Assessing which authority and which grade or title you are eligible for
- Preparing, collating and checking documents, including attestation and equivalency
- Managing primary source verification
- Preparing for and booking examinations
- Preparing and, where the authority permits, submitting applications
- Tracking applications and responding to authority queries
- Managing renewals and continuing professional development records
- Preparing profession-specific career documents
- Checking employment offers and employers against official registries
The specific services you are buying are those listed in your written quote, and nothing beyond them. Anything else is a separate instruction and a separate quote.
What is outside the scope of these terms?
We do not provide, and these terms do not cover:
- Recruitment, job search, or introductions to employers
- Immigration, visa or work permit services of any kind
- Legal advice, which requires a licensed lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction
- Clinical, engineering or other professional advice within your own discipline
- Tax or financial advice
Our full scope boundary, with the routes we point people to instead, is on what we do not do.
How do fees work?
Our advisory fee is quoted per case, in writing, after a free eligibility consultation, and is fixed for the scope described in that quote. We do not publish a price list because fees vary by profession, authority, the number of credentials to verify and whether an examination applies. We never charge a percentage of your salary.
Payment of our advisory fee is staged: a part when work begins and the balance when primary source verification clears, unless your quote states otherwise. Payment is made through a payment link we send you after you accept the quote. We do not take card details over the phone, by email or through this website.
If the scope changes, for example because an authority introduces a requirement that did not apply when you instructed us, we will tell you before doing the additional work and issue a revised quote. We will not add charges to an invoice that you have not agreed in advance.
What are you responsible for?
Licensing applications are assessed on the accuracy of what is submitted, and most of what is submitted comes from you.
- Accurate information. Everything you tell us about your qualifications, registrations and employment history must be true and complete. A regulator that finds a discrepancy may reject the application or take a harsher view than that.
- Genuine documents. Every document you give us must be authentic and lawfully obtained. Primary source verification exists precisely to detect documents that are not, and it is effective. We will cease work immediately and without refund if we believe a document is not genuine.
- Timely responses. Authorities set deadlines for responding to queries. Where a deadline is missed because we did not hear from you in time, the consequences are not ours to carry.
- Paying the authority directly. Regulator, verification and examination fees are yours to pay, in your own name.
- Your own account credentials. Where an authority requires you to hold the portal account personally, you are responsible for it. Do not share passwords with anyone, including us, unless the authority permits it and we have asked in writing.
What do we promise, and what can we not?
What we commit to
If an application is rejected because of an error we made in preparing your documents, we correct it and cover the resubmission fee.
What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee a licence, a registration, a pass, or a processing time. Those decisions belong to the regulator alone.
We do not claim, and these terms do not create, any commitment as to a pass rate, a success rate, a processing time or a licensing outcome. Timelines quoted anywhere on this site are the authorities' own published patterns, not undertakings by us.
How is our liability limited?
We are liable for our own work: if we prepare your documents incorrectly and an application fails as a result, we correct the error and cover the resubmission fee, as set out above.
We are not liable for outcomes that are not ours to control. That includes a regulator's decision, a change in an authority's requirements or fees, an examination result, a delay by a verifying institution or an employer, a decision by an employer, or any immigration or visa outcome.
Except where liability cannot lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the advisory fees you have paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings or a lost offer of employment.
How can an engagement end?
You can stop an engagement at any time by telling us in writing. What happens to fees already paid is set out in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may end an engagement if we believe a document is not genuine, if information you have given us is materially false, if you ask us to do something outside our scope or contrary to an authority's rules, or if fees due remain unpaid after we have asked for them.
What about your data and our materials?
How we handle your personal data and your documents is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. In summary: documents are accepted only through the secure upload link we send you, never by email or messaging app, and they are held for a stated period and then deleted.
Guides, templates and written reports we prepare for you are yours to use for your own application. They remain our copyright and may not be resold or republished.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by [REPLACE_GOVERNING_LAW]. Before starting any formal proceedings we ask that you raise the complaint with us first, at [REPLACE_EMAIL]. We will acknowledge within one working day and respond substantively within five.
